THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE SHERIFF'S OFFICE WILL BE ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC TO ASSIST GOD'S PIT CREW IN SUPPLYING BLESSING BUCKETS TO THE VICTIMS OF THE STORMS IN TEXAS AND FLORIDA. SUPPLIES CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT THE LOBBY OF THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE ON MOSS STREET BETWEEN 8:30 AM AND 5 PM.

A THIRTY ONE BINGO FUNDRAISER FOR THE BASSETT WORSHIP CENTER WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND AT THE BASSETT COMMUNITY CENTER.  DOORS OPEN AT 6 PM AND BINGO STARTS AT 7 PM. CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE WITH HOT DOGS, CHIPS, DRINKS AND BAKED GOODS.  PLUS DOOR PRIZES.
