Super Country, 99.9 is officially WZBB-FM, which is locally owned and operated by WNLB Radio Inc. Donny Brook and Glenn Lynch are principal owners of Super Country 99.9, which began operating as B-99.9 21 years ago in March 1989.
Initally B-99.9 played Adult Contemporary music while sister station WNLB-AM was our country outlet. At midnight December 31st, 1991 the switch was made to "Today"s Hot Country" and for the next 15 years B-99.9 reigned as the ratings champion in this area.
In October of 2006 the switch to Super Country 99.9, the Greatest Hits of All Time, became official, and the Arbitron Ratings continued to increase.
Super Country is anchored by Morning Drive personality Glenn Lynch, who has been waking people up in the area for over 40 years. Glenn has the support of his "Gang" in the morning including local news anchor Ron Morris, Amy Pendleton and Brent Jones.
Program Director Craig Richards is on the air from 10a-3p, followed by Captain Tom Conroy weekday afternoons from 3-7p and Sunday nights for Classic Vinyl at 6p. Weeknights from 7p-12m join Lia Knight as she plays your requests and dedications.
It's veteran broadcaster and owner Donnie Brook Monday and Friday 10am-3pm and whenever someone wants a day off! He even does floors and windows!
Super Country 99.9 also features Bluegrass Music Saturday nights at 10pm with Country Roots.
